Colonies:


The British had many areas of interest throughout Asia and Africa which led to the colonization of them. There were ports and routes that led to their colonies, trade opportunities, and political objectives. Great Britain wanted to beat out the other imperialist countries and be the most powerful. The colonies of India, South Africa, Egypt, and Sudan all had factors such as a good location, numerous natural resources, and agricultural products that made them attractive possessions.
